Advanced Command Generator

Generate major Minecraft commands from organized command-specific forms.

Input style

Switch forms by command type and paste existing commands through Import Command.

Advanced generator workflow

Use advanced mode when a normal tool does not expose the required fields. Add one feature at a time so errors are easy to isolate.

Examples and checks
  1. Generate a basic working command.
  2. Add one advanced field.
  3. Test it in Minecraft.
  4. Repeat until the command is complete.

Commands this tool is useful for

The advanced generator covers commands that do not have their own tool on this site. The examples below use current Java Edition syntax (1.21.5 and later, including 26.x). Some of them work differently or do not exist in Bedrock Edition, such as /bossbar.

/setblock: replace one block

/setblock ~ ~-1 ~ minecraft:gold_block replace

The last word decides what happens to the old block: replace swaps it, keep only places the block where there is air, and destroy breaks the old block and drops it as an item. Use /fill for larger areas.

/clone: copy an area

/clone 0 64 0 10 70 10 100 64 100

The first two positions are opposite corners of the area, and the third is where the copy starts. Add masked to skip air blocks. There is a limit on how many blocks can be copied at once, so split large builds into parts.

/particle: visual effects

/particle minecraft:flame ~ ~1 ~ 0.5 0.5 0.5 0.01 20

The three numbers after the position are the spread, then the speed, then the count. Run it from a repeating command block to mark a warp point or a base.

/bossbar: a bar at the top of the screen

/bossbar add mc:event "Event time left" then /bossbar set mc:event players @a

Boss bars are not only for boss fights. They work well as a countdown or progress bar in minigames, and you can update the value automatically with a scoreboard.

If you already have a command, paste it into Import Command. The tool detects the command type from its first word and loads the text into the output box so you can check it.
