Automatic conversion can handle common syntax changes, but Java/Bedrock features and version-specific components do not always have a direct equivalent.

When to convert a command
Java Edition 1.20.5 replaced most item NBT with components. A command like /give @p diamond_sword{Unbreakable:1b} 1 becomes /give @p diamond_sword[unbreakable={}] 1. Java 1.21.5 changed the format again for names, lore and click events.
Paste the old command, choose the version you play on, and copy the result. The converter also points out parts that cannot be converted automatically.
If the command does not work
- Some old tags have no direct replacement. Rebuild those parts with the matching generator.
- Bedrock Edition does not support Java item data. Converting from Java to Bedrock keeps only the basic command.
- Test the converted command in a backup world before using it on a server.
